These biscuits are perfect for school lunch boxes.  They are filled with whole grains and are free from refined sugar 🙂
- 1/2 cup Apple Sauce (no added sugar)
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 60 grams Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Wholemeal Flour
- 1 cup Rolled Oats (I blitz the rolled oats for a few seconds in the food processor to make them a little bit finer)
- 1/2 teaspoon Bi Carb Soda
- 80 grams Dark Chocolate (chopped)
Using an electric mixer whisk butter, honey and vanilla until light and fluffy. Â Whisk through apple sauce until combined. Â Add wholemeal flour, bi carb soda, rolled oats and dark chocolate. Â Stir using a wooden spoon until combined. Â Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls and gently press down with a wet fork. Â Bake in a 180 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
